Day one, Bangalore! A new city, new beginning, new faces and a a lot of never before stuff. The big day was finally here. A Wednesday reporting at 8:30 sharp in the morning and I was off my marks as early as I could with my Sister-in-law. Drove a little over half an hour and reached the destination. Lot of best wishes meant a lucky day for me. I walked into the basement at the venue given, went on to the security desk to validate my joining and get a temporary ID. Moved in with a group of 139 other fresh faces as me into the basement of the complex where we were supposed to have our induction program. The day started off with an introduction by a member of "Team Discover" (Sunita Mam), trust me she just talked us through the day effortlessly. After an hour and half we had a tea break and when we came back, members of EHS team was waiting for us and straightaway they gave an order of few documents and stuff we need to submit and then started one of the never before stuff "The signature marathon". It never seemed to end, once it started. The pages kept on turning and we kept on scribbling signatures for almost 2 hours or so. 83 of them, to be precise. The usual lunch with free meal passes was not much to talk about though what followed lunch was going to take a lot of effort to keep our eyes opened. The much needed break from such strong sleeping drive was given by the security tips and other related issues that are ear-marked as "Important". The day kept on going till 7 in the evening at a slow pace and then the bankers came in to introduce themselves and open our salary accounts. Time flew in their instructions to fill the form and put a few more signatures here and there. We got the welcome kits and some stationary from the EHS team. and the day finally came to an end with a trip back home on a bus directly to a place very close to my brother's home. I know it is not detailed but 'first things are best things' not in these words but the memories they invoke when I read them are important and special!

Never really had the idea that life and choices weren't that easy to make as they seem and came to know that a life isn't about choices you wanna make but its about the options life leaves you to choose from. Everyone back at my village asked me out what would I do after Xth and I used to see them like "Y the hell you seem to be so interested in my future more than myself??" later on realized they all were victims of curiosity that I always chose different till then and were eager to know what coming next to surprise them? Commerce I yelled one final morning and declared my plans of doing CA. Yeah son that's quiet a surprise you planned for me said my dad. Though my min
